They are The Unreleased Album (NW-4), My Favorite Sessions (NW-5) and Living Covers (NW-7). Can anyone tell me what the titles of the other cds on this label are? Are they by Sheryl? Are they as good as these three. Any and all info would be appreciated. Thanks. On tv the BBC 2 is broadcasting the london event, don't think it will be the whole event cause it's only an hour long. As for the radiostations, I will find out for mine tomorrow, cause then they will list the recent programs for that day. Brigitte But there's always the Internet and I think they will broadcast the whole event cause that's 6 hours long. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 08 Oct 1999 13:42:14 +0200 From: Brigitte & Michael Subject: [sheryl-crew] Re: sheryl-crew-digest V2 #345 Happy birthday Christina! How did you do that, they usually go for a lot more. I recently traded this with someone (thank you Katie!) and it's defintely worth your money! It's has excellent quality and I think it's the best live concert I have of Sheryl. Brigitte ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 8 Oct 1999 04:57:04 -0700 (PDT) From: Naoto Hariu Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] ebay auctions Couple things to remember when buying something on eBay: Most of the Bootlegs are CD-Rs. Some are no covers, some won't even play on your player. Depending of the software and brand of CD used to make these copies, it could give you all kinds of problems. If done right, CD-Rs are longer lasting than silver CDs. Half the autographs on sale are fake. If you don't know how Sheryl signs, check her fan pages, people have there personally signed autographs up there. That certificate of authenticity means jack. I bought one once, it's was so fake and the certificate was for someone by the name of "Cheryl Crow". Yeah, whatever... he let me return it for a full refund. I don’t like bidding on cash only auctions. I like to send personal check, money orders cost a little extra. If you do cash, you are risking more than you have to. Also, I wouldn’t worry too much about PO Box address. If they rip you off from there, since the post offices in US are managed by the government, it is considered a Federal offence. My friend used this as a threat, got his money back. ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? The Tori Amos CDs I recommended were "Little Earthquakes" and "Under the Pink". 2. Yes, eBay users are generally trustworthy. But beware of a user from Argentina who sells the Sheryl Crow unreleased album from 1992. There's just something fishy about this user that I can't exactly prove. 3. Looking forward to Sheryl on NetAid-- the next obvious question is, so I don't have to watch/tape the whole 8 hours, WHEN will she perform? 4. Saw HER on GMA this morning and liked it, but were there sound problems or am I imagining things? Her mike didn't seem to be on. Also, didn't agree with her choice of songs, but then again, considering GMA's typical audience, I guess it makes sense. - -Larr __________________________________________ NetZero - Defenders of the Free World Get your FREE Internet Access and Email at http://www.netzero.net/download/index.html ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 8 Oct 1999 16:02:46 +0100 From: "Spin spin sugar girlie" Subject: [sheryl-crew] SHerYL CreW ( lift ohhh what happened hey ppls and Hilary what happened in the lift or elevator ( forgive me I'm English ) emm Sheryl content hmmm Judith ( thinking about those who died in the train cras,h scarified because of Barsted conservative Privatisation For the quick £ ) ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 8 Oct 1999 10:04:20 -0700 From: "Anjel" Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] net aid broadcasting stations Dallas-Ft. Don't get confused with the topic line, that's what some guy host said on GMA. Forgot his name. Anyhoo...Sheryl was telling the story of breaking the tip of her right index finger when it got jammed in between elevator doors, so she was left with the other fingers to play with. :( They showed: Before "We'll be right back with Sheryl Crow...." commercial break, you could hear her playing IIMYH. The whole performance of MFM. "Thank you again for coming Sheryl..." Sheryl's playing ABD, but you couldn't hear her. I couldn't though...anyone else have this prob? Sheryl looked great of course. Very interesting how she pulled thru considering she couldn't use the index finger to play. I could tell the difference in the sound. Ahhh...next on my list: Conan and Sessions. :) Can't catch the Net Aid thing, sure it's gonna be good. Still waiting for the Central Park concert to get to me in the mail. Katie ();) P.S. Sheryl was set to play the last half hour so I thought I could rush to work after that and just be a little late (okay so half an hour late but oh well!). I got in and saw her play her two songs (and half of "Anything But Down") and it was great! I was close to the front, there weren't many people there and it was just Sheryl and her guitarist Tim Smith. I thought they did a really good job. Afterwards I went outside and waited by the door (a security guy tipped me off and said where she would be coming out). I waited about 5 minutes and she started to come out but then they realized her car wasn't ready for her so she snuck back behind the door. Then she came walking out and I said hello. She looked over and smiled and then ran to her car! It was exciting just to see her! She got in a black fancy car with some red headed woman and they drove off. I snuck into work and made up a silly excuse that I am sure no one believed but oh well. Just thought I would share...Did anyone else catch the show this morning? She is supposed to be on Conan tonight. I tried to get tickets but couldn't leave work early to go to the studio at 4pm for taping at 5:30. It was just a day of Sheryl today. I hope she isn't getting TOO MUCH exposure...do you think? In reference to Amie who wanted to know who wrote that song that the Dixie Chicks sing on their latest cd called, "Let Him Fly", it is a singer/songwriter (a wonderful one at that!) named Patty Griffin. I encourage all to check her cd out called, "Living With Ghosts", you won't stop playing it.
