I just wanted to let you know that Sheryl is going to be performing on Late Night with Conan O'Brien this Friday, Oct. 8. Just thought you all might like to know. When NBC sent me their newsletter telling about their events, they wrote that "Cheryl Crow" would be performing. Why don't these people check their spelling before sending out a newsletter? - -Emily ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 28 Sep 1999 21:09:46 +0100 From: "Danny.Weddup" Subject: [sheryl-crew] Music :o) Hello everybody, I was wondering what music (other than Sheryl, obv.) that you people on the list are into. (I liked the movie alot , it was violent, but the acting is pretty good IMO) If I remebr correctly, The songs were, No One said it would be Easy, Strong Enough, and maybe Can't Cry anymore...I just ask because I was listening to the Even Angels Rock boot and before no one said she was talking about the song appearing in the movie and that it would make a good rental..I just think if she was upset she wouldn't have said anything. Just curious, thanks to anyone who knows any info about it. - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - ------------------ .........We've got loud guitars and quiet suspicions, great big guns and small ambitions, and we still argue over who is God............. - -Sheryl Crow, Hard to Make a Stand Sheryl Crow: IMYH ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 29 Sep 1999 13:00:10 -0500 (EST) From: Jennifer Cooper Subject: Re: [sheryl-crew] Music :o) Well besides Sheryl I'm really into Liz Phair, Hole, the cranberries, Beck, Belle and Sebastian, Wilco, Lucinda Williams, and Garbage among many others. Yeah, I think it's cool, but I'm really happy just being a member of this mailing list! Before getting internet service and all, I felt like an outsider cuz I didn't know of any other Sheryl fans, but with this mailing list, you have a place where you can talk about Sheryl, what your fave songs are and so forth. Having a piece of paper proving you're a member of a fan club doesn't exactly point out you're a bigger fan than someone who isn't a fan club member. My .02 Katie ();) P.S. Christina! I'd have to check the movie out again, It's been a while and I don't remember the scene where it was used.
