These figures are from last week, not the weekend that just ended. Minus Man came in #64. It played on 6 screens and brought in $30, 685. It did beat out the movie called THE WOOD, which played in 91 theaters, so it can't be that bad. What a wuss. Maybe she is/was a little camera shy, that doesn't necessarily make her a wuss. BTW I never saw that ep, what exactly did she say on the show? <> - ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ - ------------------ .........We've got loud guitars and quiet suspicions, great big guns and small ambitions, and we still argue over who is God............. - -Sheryl Crow, Hard to Make a Stand Sheryl Crow: IMYH ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 27 Sep 1999 23:50:13 -0500 (EST) From: david WILLIAMS Subject: [sheryl-crew] Sheryl on CNN Millenium I just caught a little bit of CNN Millenium. Sheryl was part of the interview saying something to the affect of "Music is a universal language. After being out on the road, it amazes me that people will sing every word of a song, even if they don't always know what it means. " Something like that. I don't remember exactly. The other people in the interview were Courtney love ("music is as old as fire. Put people in a concentration camp and they'll start singing out their woes.") and Sarah Maclachlan ("Music is a way to get people more in touch with themselves, and I think that in that way, it's sucha great gift.") I'm sure they'll replay it. DAVID ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V2 #334 *********************************
