[Brigitte & Michael Subject: [sheryl-crew] Minus Man I saw a free preview screening of Minus Man last night. Sheryl did a good job of acting and I think she has a future as an actress if she wants to pursue it. However the rest of the movie was horrible so I can't really recommend seeing the movie. Sheryl's part is in the first ten minutes of the movie so, if you really want to see her, go to the bargain matinee and then leave after her part is over. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 23 Sep 1999 12:34:49 -0600 From: Sarah & Gerry Subject: [sheryl-crew] Re: Bio See http://www.hmv.com/ and enter Cheryl Crow as the artist for a Bio on her. Do you know whose name I saw at the end credits of the movie Studio 54?? Of course , Sheryl Crow´s one. I didn´t know that she had appeared at the movie, well it is a very short appearence at the end credits. At them it says: Vip Patrons; and you can see some images of her entering at the famous disco Studio 54 with an elegant red dress and with her nice wavy hair. Also Donald Trump and Cindy Crawford appear at this movie as Sheryl , doing as if they were celebrities going out of their limosines and walking between the crowd. Hi I recently got a bootleg of a concert in '94 (from Sheryl off course) but I don't know the date or where it took place here's the setlist: nobody needs you when you''re down/can't cry anymore/run, baby, run/the na-na song/strong enough/no one said it would be easy/leaving las vegas/what can i do for you/i shall believe. Also I recieved one from London in '99 with this setlist: 1) My Favorite Mistake (4:05) 2) A Change Will Do You Good (5:01) 3) Anything But Down (5:12) 4) River Wild (4:53) 5) If It Makes You Happy (5:05) 6) Sweet Rosalyn (4:56) 7) All I Wanna Do (5:11) 8) There Goes The Neighborhood (4:54) 9) Strong Enough (3:16) 10) The Difficult Kind (6:41) 11) Everyday Is A Winding Road (5:37) 12) Leaving Las Vegas (7:13) 13) Happy (3:53) 14) Can’t Cry Anymore Which date is this one? Hrrm...like a nitwit, I managed to forget the background on this song. Is there /anything/ that it's available on, commercial or otherwise? It's been so long since I first heard of it that I can't remember anything that was said at the time of release of that particular MP3. If anyone out there has a copy of the VH1 special "Storytellers" with Sheryl, I would die for a copy of it. I would be glad to pay for it or send a video tape or whatever. I recently went to the Central Park concert and was in the very front row and got some great pictures so I would be happy to send some of those in trade. I also have a pic that says Sheryl Crow on the back that I would be willing to trade as well. Please e-mail me privately: mauseee@aol.com I really want to see that performance. I don't get VH1 anymore and since I am a grad student at NYU I don't have much time to watch. Thanks! "Brand New...". I've seen it before, and knew that Sheryl Crow had sung with them on the C.D. for the song "Imagine...", which was later featured on the "Our Friend Martin..." soundtrack. Anyway, I must say, I slacked on picking up this C.D., it's been out for months now, but the combined voices of R. & B. rappers Salt 'N Pepa and the background vocals of Sheryl Crow sounds nice. It's a new Sheryl, one we don't hear that often, the combined music styles really is something... But to the real point at hand, the other C.D. I walked out of the store with was another promo' C.D. for "Sweet Child O' Mine...". Up until today, I knew of four C.D.s featuring this song: The soundtrack for "Big Daddy...", the U.S. promo' C.D. featuring just the one song, and Sheryl in a white top on the cover, and then the two digi-pack imports, one which featured the two mixes of the song, and then the other that had the "Leaving Las Vegas..." song and video... Well... The one I got today, is none of those four... It is in U.S. jewel-case, and features the cover where Adam Sandler and the boy are peeing on the wall, just like one of the import covers, and the C.D. itself is just like the import one featuring the two mixes, the pop and rock mixes, but on the C.D. it clearly indicates it's a U.S. promo', not for re-sale, and the cover has the release date for the movie all over it... It's strange... Anyone-Else have this? Anyway... Anyone-Else have this? The two track is the radio station promo for the track. The one track is not a radio promo, it is an in store promo. Also, on the American records two track, you'll find two versions of the track which are not commercially available. "Also I recieved one from London in '99 with this setlist:" hi, the set-list you gave sounds familiar, but not of the actual concert. The concert was on the 17th or 18h of Feb I think, but the actual setlist was longer than the one you gave and was in a different order. What you have sounds like a recording off the radio where they played an edited varsion of her concert (altho yours does have the 3 last tracks on which the radio show didnt!). anyways, bye L sam xxxxx ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V2 #330 *********************************
