I'm going to see four of them. Three days in Tokyo and one more in Nagoya. Oct 20 in Tokyo is now officially confirmed and the tickets were already on sale three weeks ago. There may be some left for Oct 20 and if they do, I can buy one for you(but don't expect a good seat). I heard tickets for Fukuoka still is not on sale. And on another note, some japanese fans here on the list(I am sure there are more than four besides me) are managing a message board to help buy/sell the tickets among fans. Let's expect to hear from them! Moments later McLachlan gracefully took the stage, guitar in hand, and did not disappoint. For approximately the next hour McLachlan delivered an emotion filled performance of many of her hits that enraptured the audience from start to finish. After "Last Dance" she immediately went into "Possession" and "Black and White," with the audience singing along so loud at times it was hard to hear her ethereal voice. Later in her set after performing "I Will Remember You," McLachlan commented on the audiences' impromptu participation. "It's so great when you sing along," McLachlan told the crowd. Silence, though, fell over the arena as the crowd clung to each lyric of the heart wrenching song "Hold On." McLachlan then moved to the piano to perform her hit "Adia" and went back to guitar for the rest of her set with the exception of "I Will Remember You," which due to a technical difficulties she did not play guitar on. As the light from the disco ball above the stage shimmered across the audience, McLachlan wound down her set with "Fumbling Towards Ecstasy," and was joined by Lilith co-headliner Sheryl Crow for an encore performance of "Angel." On Tuesday, McLachlan and the Lilith camp will hit the Polaris Amphitheatre in Columbus, Ohio and Wednesday the Riverbend Amphitheatre in Cincinnati. - - Stephanie Patafio, Sony Music Spotlight: Crow entrances audience at Lilith Fair Sheryl Crow owned the stage at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, N.J. Sunday at her Lilith Fair performance. Throughout her first three songs, Crow slowly paced the staged like a wild animal on the prowl strategically conserving her energy for her final attack. She started her set off with "A Change Would Do You Good" and moved into "My Favorite Mistake" and "Anything But Down," each song luring the audience further under her control. With "Everyday Is A Winding Road," Crow was ready to rock and she threw her set into high gear. Most of the near capacity crowd jumped to their feet as Crow danced around the stage and Sarah McLachlan's drummer and husband Ash Sood joined in on the bongos and on the song's chorus. Now with the audience completely entranced, Crow hit them point blank with the dark, hypnotic piece "Am I Getting Through." The remainder of Crow's set was filled with numerous guest appearances by her fellow Lilith performers. Chrissie Hynde from the Pretenders joined in on "If It Makes You Happy," Sandra Bernhard channeled Axl Rose on the Guns N' Roses classic "Sweet Child O' Mine," McLachlan traded verses with Crow on "Strong Enough," and on bass Me'shell NdegeOcello added some funk to Crow's closing number "There Goes the Neighborhood." On Tuesday, Crow and the Lilith troupe hit the Polaris Amphitheatre in Columbus, Ohio and on Wednesday the Riverbend Amphitheatre in Cincinnati. - - Stephanie Patafio, Sony Music ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 10 Aug 1999 18:16:42 GMT From: "michael d." The tickets for Fukuoka will be sold from Sept 4 (you can check Japanese info from the link below), and they may sell some of them before it. The radio stations kept repeating her concert info and her latest song SCOM, but there's no info now on the air, because of Eric Clapton's (last?) concert in Japan.
