Sheryl was the highlight of the show as always! She definitely ROCKED the house, and put on a spectacular show! Just for some short info., she sang "Angel" w/ SM. And SM sang "Strong Enough" w/ Sheryl. At the end they brought everybody out to sing some other song too. As Shawn mentioned, before Sheryl sang TDK, she said "the guys w/ the suits and ties, tell me that this is gonna be the next single." It must be confirmed now. These are the songs: A Change MFM Everyday is a Winding road Anything But Down If it make you happy Am I getting Through The Difficult Kind Strong Enough Mississippi TGTN Hope that everybody has fun at the rest of the Lilith shows!!! :0) Brooke ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it. Then when the movie was over, MFM was playing on the radio when we started the car! Just thought I'd tell you all about that, and also that TBWP is very very scary!!! See it, it is amazing! Extra tracks were LLV live in Toronto and Riverwide for Radio 1 (both available on the other 2 CDs) but also the My Favorite Mistake video!!! I really wanted to get it but it was overpriced. (I don't have the US TGS with the video on.) Has anyone else seen this CD? Secondly, for anyone in the UK who hasn't yet bought TGS with bonus live CD it's available in Virgin for 7.99 - in the sale. (The same price as the normal album!) Jenny ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 31 Jul 1999 19:46:23 -0400 From: "F. I >really wanted to get it but it was overpriced. It's not actually a "tour" edition, it is the standard German ABD single. True, it does advertise the TGS tour edition on the label, but the ABD is just the regular German single. There was no German edition of the UK 2 single set, just the one with a track from each UK single, and the MFM video, which, of course, is what you saw. That also is probably why it was overpriced. Unlike the 2 UK ABD singles, it had to be imported from Germany. Regards, F. I've tried both chainstores (HMV, Virgin etc) and independent shops. I'd rather not buy through CDnow though. If anyone has a copy or could get one for me, please e-mail me. I'll pay a reasonable price or trade (tapes only) for it. I'm in the UK and will refund postage within Europe. You guys do know that she is in the UK, meaning that the price is not $7.99, but £ 7.99, which is about $13.00. Admittedly, a very low price, but between that and the $5-8 it would take to ship it, you're not saving but about $5 max. IMHO, not really worth the bother for USers, when you can get it from a US store relatively easily for a few dollars more. Regards, F. She stole the show - no contest! She was the first performer who seemingly everyone in the audience stood up for, and she deserved it. Wow! I had a wonderful time, esp. because we finally got seats where I could get up and dance! (The first concert, we were in a boring section, and last time, I was 2nd row balcony - kind of scary!) So I had a great time, and I didn't sit down for practically the whole set, although the people behind me probably weren't very happy... As Brooke mentioned, Sheryl sang Angel with Sarah, with Lorenza & Sheryl's violinist (don't know his name) accompanying. It was beautiful! Sarah's set was amazing too, and I liked the other acts a lot. I need to go because Hard Rock Live just started. Bye! - -Meredith *** http://locket.net/ *** Cup Riot On-line~ "Save the plastic cups!" I just listened to it as well, can always watch the tape later (or watch the commercial release of a much more complete show later this year). One thing, though, the show started with "Maybe That's Something", and in between TDK and IIMYH was ABD. It was sorta nice to see this, as a preview of the less edited down video, but its too bad that they didn't tape a different show to air on Hard Rock Live than the one that will be in stores in a while. Hey everyone, This will be a kinda pointless email. I just went through some crappy stuff in my life, and I just wanted to say how much I really think that Sheryl knows what she's talking about... She's my therapy right now, and she's doing a damn good job of it. It just continues to amaze me, the amount of feeling she puts into her lyrics and that she's _always_ right... Just wanted to comment, sorry for stuffing boxes, Michele "Out of the multitude to me, he came and broke my heart..." "I'm a loser at love, I'm a flower in the mud" "Your esoteric rants were made to twist and shout..." "You are a raging sea, I pull myself out of everyday...
