In addition to "My Favorite Mistake" and "The Difficult Kind" with Tim Smith on vocals and guitar, and Eric on lead and slide guitar, Sheryl also shared vocals with Eric on "Little Wing". David Sanborn (sax) and Eric do a great dueling solo on this one. Sanborn goes absolutely crazy in what seemed to me to be a tribute to Jimi Hendrix. Originally written and recorded by Hendrix, Eric also did a version of "Little Wing" during his Derek And The Dominoes days. Did anybody who watched the show, notice that it was cut off by a half hour. My tv thingie listed it as from 9pm-11:30pm, but they unfortunately ended it at 11pm. I was sure hoping to see more of Sheryl, but what the hell. I was also hoping to see something where they all come out at the end to play a final number. Ya know what I mean? But unfortunately, they didn't do that either. But who cares, at least I saw it. I was hoping to see her perform w/ Bob Dylan too.
