She looked really good! They interviewed her for a bit before she performed MFM. They mainly talked about Lilith and how she felt about being involved in the tour for the 2nd year. She said that she couldn't have thought of a better way to spend her summer than to tour with Lilith. She also said that she was enjoying her success and that she only does things musically that she wants to do and feels more in control. She also mentioned that she felt she was happier now because she has been able to take time for her personal life and still have time for the professional life as well. Sheryl had on faded jeans and a black tank top... her hair was really short with blond streaks and quite curly. Very much like the pics of her on lilithfair.com. After the interview she sung MFM accompanied by Tim. Sheryl played a bass with a *beautiful* background of angels on the instrument. It was a gorgeous bass and one I don't remember seeing in the past. Before they began MFM she introduced Tim and said, "he's wearing his new straw hat." Then it said at the end "This song marked a change for sheryl: it was her fiest single to not reach the top 40" Now i *know* Run Baby Run didn't reach top 40 but maybe they're not counting that since it was before she got famous. AC *had* to have been on top 40 - it was on the vh1 top 10 countdown in '97. the timline on her said it got to #5!!!! aren't they confusing it with Home????
