It's on Sunday 11th July at 1.20 pm (ie afternoon), on Channel 5, and lasts half an hour. The description says: "Singer Sheryl Crow performs tracks from her new album and talks about her career." On a page that talked about "The Minus Man" (The page where they had a picture of Sheryl dead in the bathroom) they kept talking about it, and I was just wondering what it was. I was just listening to "Love is a Good Thing", and she talks about Wal-Mart selling guns, and then it dawned on me... didn't Wal-Mart stop selling her CD's because of this? I thought I remember seeing that on VH1 at one time but I guess I could have made that up... let me know if yall know anything about that. One last thing...! If anyone knows of a theater that "The Minus Man" will be playing at in or around New Orleans, let me know. I have already checked with The Palace in Elmwood, and they didn't have anything about it. I, personally, have not, so I draw no conclusion about his character. In money terms, contracts, tours and backing (yawn!), however, he is set to be one of the BIGGEST stars this country has ever produced (unless he f*cks it up). I don’t think too much of his music, myself. It’s not my thing but I have seen him perform live and, having seen a lot of bands/artists do so, I can confidently say he is GOOD. He can perform, he can get a crowd of tens of thousands of people going whether they are fans or not. Believe me, I have seen some major stars perform absolutely pathetically live and it is a real disappointment. One more thing before I return to talking about Sheryl — GET OFF MY BACK!!!!!
