BTW I find all these moral dilemma's over whether to buy Maxim absolutely fascinating and amusing, I'm sure Sheryl would be impressed. Well it's just that I saw her concert the other night (exactly a month after Sheryl's and at the same theater), and I was really impressed. Actually, amazed! Her energy throughout brought her back for a four-song encore (w/10 mins of instrumentation) and then another 2-song encore. But what impressed me the most was what Sheryl lacked in hers - audience participation. Natalie really played and taunted w/the crowd, even playing a request from fans. She even gave the mic to a crazy guy dancing! Then, people in the front kept giving her gifts, like a huge book of some sort. Natalie even messed up in her song and laughed about it and made the whole night enjoyable. Did anyone else agree that Sheryl was kind of missing this in her tour? In Chicago, she only gave an hour and twenty minute performance and didn't "play for the crowd", but rather, she played her set. Women have been fighting for years for the respect of their male counterparts, for an opportunity to be treated as equals, this is indeed the 90's, what kind of pictures should we be seeing in magazines? Fully clothed women who are successful in their careers (such as live Sheryl concert photos) not successful in having a body that men think is good enough for them to get their thrills off of. Why does this woman feel that she needed to do this, especially since she has many a time commented on how she hates being a woman in this industry because of how people judge her by her looks, so she goes and does a photo shoot for a trashy men's magazine that is all about who can have the deepest cleavage on the cover? She is WAY better than this, and I personally think it was a mistake.
