I know the proposed DIY suggestion will save a lot of hassle and speed things up. But it coudl result in a lot of variations, which may result in the shirt looking like a cheap rip-off off an orignal? Like say a few crew members wear the shirt to a concert, and there are several variations in the shirts, like the colour of the shirts (different shades of blue, gray, black, etc.),and worse, different shades and size of the design. Wont that make the shirt look rather dodgy? Other than that, I too say the shirt should be ready by end Jun so I can get it in time, before going stateside. :) What are we gonna do about payment though. I understand a shirt was printed before, how did you'll handle it? I dont mind sending cash beforehand, but wouldnt it be a bummer if someone makes off with all our (whole lot of) money? Apparently, if you make a mail to the list that has nothing to do with Sheryl Crow, this constitutes an OFF mail. Maybe I misread this because you are all talking about The Sheryl Crew, not The Sheryl Crow. Out of the 37 mails I have read in the last 24 hours that claim to be "on topic", 24 of them are off. RE. Shirts. I know many members are young with limited budgets but whoever makes club t shirts deserves to be paid retail for them, this is something that is done to earn a living, not a hobbie or favor or something. That said, some of the designs could be e mailed to those who wanted them, printed on transfer paper, and Iron On Shirts could be made at home for anyone who wanted. It's an idea. Passes. I think that a recording artist should make themselves accessible to fans. They are delivering a personal message in their work. If Sheryl were a baseball player that would not be the case and those who say leave her alone would be right, but we have a one way relationship here where she talks to us and we just listen. If your spouse or parent spoke to you and you never answered back, that would be a sick relationship. I would like 20 seconds sometime just to tell her I loved her music and she should know it made me happy, made a difference in my life. I would be sattisfied to do this by mail or email if I knew she read it. Thats just me. I am with Laurence on this issue. It's ok to exhange boots, if you ask me, but to make profit, esp. if it's over $5, is very bad. :-/ I was interested in the Trinity Sessions recording that Joe/Barfko was offering, but when I found out he was charging $15, I had to pass. Sure, I want the recording, but I can't afford it at that price. I thought bootlegging was supposed to be a relatively inexpensive hobby? I got a 2CDR Sarah McLachlan recording for $6, for goodness sakes. So, if there are nice and reasonable U.S. Sheryl traders out there with CDR-making capabilities, I am hoping that we can get together and make a trade of some sort. I can only make cassettes myself (I can't afford a burner), but I offer 2 cassette recordings for every 1 CDR. Or if you prefer money, I'll pay up to $6 for a 1CD recording.
