I had it changed yesterday (as you might not be too happy to recieve 180 Austrian Schillings) but didn't make it to the post office in time. I mean, this strange person from the list who complained about your selling cds wouldn't get to know if we pulled our deal through. If you have ever watched Party Of Five then you may have noticed that A Change Would Do You Good is often on in the scenes with Jennifer Love Hewitt and I think there may be some Sheryl in I Know What You Did Last Summer with her as well, it may have been one of the Screams though. The point is, I wonder whether it is Kevin Williamson or Jennifer Love Hewitt who's the Sheryl fan. Perhaps they both are! Maybe I have too much time on my hands. Well, used to have, PoF isn't on anymore. As for Sweet Rosalyn at Shepherd's Bush, I listened again and I still haven't got a clue what she's on about! The guitar is great on it though. On mention of the Stone's/Sheryl gigs. I have been a Sheryl fan for a while but she hasn't played in Ireland for ages and a flight to Wembley in February wouldn't have been cheap! Now, I hear she's gonna be in Dublin in the summer and guess what? I'm going on the Camp America program in the summer as a counsellor so I won't be here. If I knew where I was going I could consider one of the Lilith Fair dates or maybe even Woodstock but by the time I find out my placement it'll probably be too late to organise anything!! The idea popped into my head about 3 three weeks ago when I sent an E-Mail to someone on this link. I can say with complete honesty that drugs were not on my mind (not at that time or any other time for that matter)when I came up with the slogan. I hope you do not think that I am offended because I am not. I just wanted to lay the truth on the table. From where I come from (California) the line "You Blow" is a softer way of saying "You Suck". It may sound different, but it means the same thing. Thank you for your input though. It is good to get opinions from others. Someone else said that it could be softened a bit. It is possible, but I do not know of an additional catch phrase that says the same thing and that packs that certain Sheryl loving punch to the non-loving Crow listener. Your comments are welcome. Sorry, just wanted to add my .02 here about the "blow" line. I LOVE IT!!! And this from a 28yo mommy to 4 kids! I just figure that they can take it anyway they want (meaning people who will see the line on the shirt) and I could care less. I've seen much MORE offensive things on shirts! I also agree that if you change the line to be less "offensive", chances are it won't be as catchy! Thanks Dominic for being willing to let us use it on the shirt if everyone agrees! :-) Now on another matter.............. Will we have the shirts done by the time Lilith Fair comes around??? I'd love to wear mine to the concert!!! Speaking of.............for those of you that got the advance tickets from buying the CD online, how much was it for those tickets??? My mom said that she could get me 35th row for $75.00.......is that a deal or not??? That's not getting it pre-paid through the site, so I have no clue. Well, back to the shirts.......what about if we have ANYONE submit their ideas??? Then we can post them all on a page, and everyone can vote. Majority rules, and if it's got that "blow" line on it, and nobody votes for it, then so be it. If you have to MAKE an entry, you'll be more likely to be happy with the ideas others have submitted! And less likely to find problems with things others think are minor (winner gets the privilege of knowing that the CREW is wearing them across the world!) I'm just thinking that we could nit pick the whole thing to no end, and still not have everyone in agreement. I just want "A" shirt to wear to Lilith Fair!!! LOL Again, my .02 (or less depending on your mood I guess! LOL) Cammy PS-I am old enough to remember the "members only" jackets, and I for one would say that we're better off just putting the words on a shirt (how 'bout a hat??? topped with the SC shirt, would be COOL!!!) is enough for me. Heaven forbid I'd EVER wear one of those things again! LOL ------------------------------ End of sheryl-crew-digest V2 #151 *********************************
