Your country uses a different video format, called PAL, while Americans use NTSC. They are generally incompatible (unless you have a $1000+ multi-standard VCR). So, it's not that we're ignoring you, or being mean, but we can't do it. Please don't ask for the same stuff over and over, especially when we can't give it to you. Thanks, F. Ok....I should be doing some work or sleeping now...but hey I've put off telling my Sheryl story for a while now....so here ya go.................. Well I got in from Rochester NY.....left my home (philly-ish) went to Jersey & took a train to NYC & waited for my friend to pick me up...after an hour we had to find the place....ok......FINALLY did....& I decided to scope out the place,......... Hmm, i feel like I'm gonna drag this on...so I;ll just some things up to spare you the reading....... Ok I met up w/ some peopl I knew that worked w/ her...got a pic & just some info & we exchanged interesting stories about being on the road & scarry fans teeee heee He gave me a pick & stuff.......but yeah then I was just chillen w/ mah buddy myke & when I was about to cross a street...who should drive by??? Miss Sheryl herself & turned right in front of me...I was wondering if she'd pull up to the venue...but she kept driving........ down amsterdam......oh yeah...turned off of 24th street if yer interested at like 3pm ish....... so yeah anyhoooo....It was such a lovely day out that I just was chillen & stuff..... but musta missed her go in.......then a crowd formed around this one entrance...... so I walked by & stuff..then was like what the hell & turned around to check it out,...talked to some people there & then Sheryl came out........heheheh I had blown up a picture that I had taken of her & Jakob Dylan a while ago & was gonna get it signed....but she said "Wow, this is such a great picture" & sheowed some people & was yalking about it :-) so i told her that she could have it although I thought she already did since a few of her old band members hung it up on a tour bus before....but anyhoo, I grabbed some really old 93 Run Baby Run tingy to get signed......t'was nice :-) I gott pic w/ her & the some oher people asked for her picture too.....then as she walked away I told her I'd be at her show thos thrusday & she was like...thanx....see ya Rachelle & walked down the street(25th) I headed out too but I think she may have thought I was following her ...but we turned at different spots....... so yeah I got two cameras in & my big ol' zoom lense & my recorder....its a DAMN shame that i was on the 2nd level (got those tix due to really messed up outta state ticket sale laws...grrrr) but if I was on the floor I could gott some killer shots...like seeing every pore on her face shots....but I guess that wouldn't be necessary anyways.........damn........well at least i have good seats this thursday!!!! She looks tall (as long as she's not standing directly beside someone, such as Letterman..whose really tall) because her legs are so long, which is usually related to height. When I first saw her up close in the Much Music environment, I could not believe how small she is, I mean, she is TINY. In interviews she has said she was 5'3 and 3/4, I have also read somewhere where someone guessed she was 5'4, but she was in heels so he was approximating. I find it very hard to believe this is her height because, I am about 5'4, and she was way smaller than me. Another thing you don't realize when you see her on TV is that she's about 2 inches around! The only other person I've been so shocked by their size when I met them was Liz Phair, who is without a doubt the smallest (in proportion) person I have ever met (height and width), that girl couldn't possibly weight more than 85 lbs. In thick chunky heels (me in runners) I looked like a friggin giant beside her, she was also about half my size ( I am normal weight). Well that's my 2 cents about the height issue. Was it just me or did those posters look absolutely rediculous? I thought those posters were so stupid, I especially loved when people were screaming when Barbara said, "Yes Sheryl is the best but if you don't be quiet we'll never get to her" or something along those lines, when the poster was made by one of her people.
