The song I first heard was AIWD, which I loved. Didn't buy TNMC. Then in early fall of '97 I bought the self-titled one from a cd club, which I loved. Bought TGS about a yr later, which is now my favorite album of hers. And this January I *finally* got TNMC. Hmm well I've been to 2 Sheryl Shows and there was some dancing and of course their were the jerkss who were drinking their beer and screaming at people to get down too. I remember in 95 i got to move up because a bunch of people left before the encores and i was trying my best at dancing but with 2 t-shirts, some stickers, and a purse in your hands it's kinda hard LOL. The people up front were great, everyone was dancing and having a good time. At the beggining of the show where i was sitting in the back no one was doing anything and I was afraid to even get up and clap because i was only 15 and heh people were just really weird. The second time I saw Sheryl in March of 97 (best concert i ever went to) I was up in the balcony and there was no room to dance really. I was in like the second row and it was really cool, I got up a couple of times but my bratty sister was with me and making fun of me so I stopped, lol. I guess it depends on the venue, like in the theaters it seems like not many people feel comfortable dancing and being loud, because of the stuffiness of the place. I sorta can see how some people get mad when people are dancing and standing the whole time, it happened to me, this guy was like 6'6 (I'm 5'7) and it was very uncomfortable for me, plus the guy was drinking, so he was being obnoxius screaming things like "Sheryl have my baby" LOL. As long as you're civil I don't think dancing and quietly singing along is bad at all. Just have fun that's the important thing. 8 more days till I see Sheryl in NY..I can't wait :) I forgot to mention my favorite non lp/b-sides- Blue Christmas (i've been listeing to it alot lately, even though it's not xmas), Freeman, and D'yer Maker. The lineup for the show, at the open-air Commonwealth Stadium, is set to have McLachlan joined by Lilith mainstay act the Indigo Girls, Sheryl Crow and country hotshots the Dixie Chicks. A fifth main stage headliner will be added soon. Edmonton won out for the honor over what might seem like an odd choice for the tour: Las Vegas. The MGM Grand made what insiders report as a very sizable offer for the event, with plans to put the main-stage acts indoors at the hotel's arena (where air-conditioning would be very welcome in August desert heat) and the second stage and arcade facilities outside.
