OK, anyway, you can e-mail to this addie too but the other's better cos I have that on all day. And good luck getting these videos. Now there'll be lotsa time to feed the kids :) I noticed something about your addie - RLmom2JJ. I guess all but the first are supposed to read LeeAnne mum to JJ? What about R? Poor Annie! :)) You gotta get another one for her - hotmail, perhaps? :) I dont like hotmail, actually, it' ssooooo slow. Anyone here heard the Faculty Soundtrack or TGS Tour Edition, and thus Resuscitation? Ok you can all put your hands down now. Now on the other hand has anyone heard the bside Straight To The Moon (on TGTN #2 disc)? Anyone who's heard both? Well did anyone else notice that they were the same song, with different lyrics. Now I'm sure there are many of you out there shaking your head in disgust because of my lack of knowledge, or because this has already been discussed, but I thought I'd just make this observation public...well I must go now and listen to the bonus cd of live tracks from Sheryl in Toronto, a show I SHOULD have been at, if not for the stupid legal drinking age law....and of course the fact that tickets were impossible to get ahold of....well bye for now, and rock on.... Pattie :o) the one who will remain always eternally happy about something and meeter of Sheryl Crow ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 18 Mar 1999 16:07:40 PST From: "David Ribeiro" Subject: Re: Resuscitation Pattie, I did see that in those songs too. The verse, but specially the introduction are exactly the same. Only the chorus vaty. Very weird, I don't know why she did that. Anyway, I think Straight to the Moon is a better song, but once again that's only my opinion, David Get Your Private, Free Email at http://www.hotmail.com ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Mar 1999 01:06:22 -0000 From: "Nadine" Subject: Re: Resuscitation yep i have heard both, resusitation and straight to the moon. living in england i bought the single TGTN and it has it on there. i did notice the two songs were similar... nadine >Now on the other >hand has anyone heard the bside Straight To The Moon (on TGTN #2 disc)? >Anyone who's heard both? Anyways, I just love the words of STTM (did anyone catch Sheryl sing If it makes you happy faintly at the end?) LOL you can't like STTM and not like Resucsitation can you? ;) I have the faculty soundtrack and overall I think It's a pretty good soundtrack, definitely worth buying as opposed to like The Tommorow never dies soundtrack or something. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 19 Mar 1999 01:35:43 EST From: SCFANCLUB2@aol.com Subject: Miami concert review Hi Crew, Wanted to pass this along from Lindsay who went to Sheryl's Miami concert tonight: Subj: Re: Miami concert Date: 3/18/99 10:06:44 PM Pacific Standard Time From: lindsayh@scf-fs.usc.edu (lindsayh) To: SCFANCLUB2@aol.com First of all, let me just say how much I dislike the Miami crowd. The venue was almost completely empty until a quarter of the way through SC's set, and poor Eagle-Eye Cherry looked like he was playing a high school prom the crowd was so disinterested and apathetic. Once SC got going, though, there wasn't much stopping the crowd from getting enthused. Different stage set-up this time: There were three video screens that formed the stage and throughout, different images were projected to go along with the different songs (well, sort of). Sheryl wore black pants, a tank top that may or may not have been purple or gray (lighting was a little intense). She played just as wide an array of instruments as she has been on the tour, moving between bass and guitar and harmonica, etc., but I must say that the accordian is missed. Anyway, here's the set list with my little notes from the show: Maybe That's Something My Favorite Mistake A Change (completely rocked on this one - by far the most energetic number the whole night) Leaving Las Vegas (Sheryl ad-libs "Maybe I'll find a cute surfer dude...have a baby...maybe not" - she also changes her intro about herself stripping during the song to a call for the band to strip - I almost thought Jim Bogios was going to, but the song started) Anything But Down ("This is a new song - a negative song" - Also, at the end of the song, the whole band sings, "How Could It Come to This?" three times - really nice touch to a great song) It Don't Hurt (she introduces the band here - oops, she accidentally calls Lorenza Ponce "Loretta," then corrects herself - "I fucked up". Also, she introduces her drummer as, "former porn star Teddy Rosecock, Jim Bogios" - Also, she plays harmonica and really rocks on it - maybe could be added to some other songs on the show as the tour progresses) Riverwide If It Makes You Happy Am I Getting Through (first of all, the stage lights were absolutely blaring to the point of near-blinding the audience - still, the song rocked. SC switched the first two lines of the song, in what appeared to be a little anxious energy - got a laugh out of Tim Smith) Redemption Day (landmine speech, also what appears to be a knock on Clinton for not signing the landmine ban, she warns the crowd, "When you vote - and I know you will vote - just make sure you know who and what you're voting for") Sweet Rosalyn Members Only All I Wanna Do (The screens behind SC and the band first show an American flag, then Bill and Hilary moving their mouths cartoon-style - maybe it's just a weird coincidence, but might "William (aka Will or Billy or Mac or Buddy)" be our esteemed head of state? Probably not, but it was an odd moment in the show) There Goes The Neighborhood First Encore - Strong Enough, Mississippi Second Encore - Everyday is a Winding Road Last Thing - Tonight's mystery? What was the Grand Piano doing on the stage, if not once was it played? After she left the stage from "Everyday..." the stage techs moved the piano to center stage, but the lights came on and everyone left.
