MP3s are computer sound files that aren't too horribly big, but can play back CD quality stereo audio. 2. Run Baby Run was before AIWD. In fact, so was Leaving Las Vegas (but RBR *was* the first, LLV being the second). AIWD was the third single from TNMC. In the US, though, her first commercial single was "Strong Enough", but there were promos for all the other previous ones. Also, there was an early UK only "What I Can Do For You", single (different from the two 1995 ones), which by all indications (copyright date, catalogue number) actually came out *before* RBR in the UK, but the first (promotional) single in the US, which was also her first ever international single, was definitely RBR, which was distributed around late July or early August of 1993. Besides, most everyone seems to ignore the 1993 WICDFY :) 3. Yes, Sheryl Crow says "bleeping" record label in The Na Na Song. She also sings that line in "Volvo Cowgirl" (a Na Na Song clone with different backing and chorus), the studio version of which is on the aforementioned 1993 WICDFY, and, apparently, a track that a lot of people have on MP3 (so I'm told :)), proving inexorably connected nature of all things in the universe... Because of this people can download MP3 files off the web quite fast and listen to them without even noticing the difference in sound. So... As far as getting MP3's usually private FTP sites are the best, but for that you need a password and stuff. I don't know of any good sites to download MP3's. Help anyone ? If he's got an autographed guitar, that is a high ticket item, and could easily be sold by this person in auction, or to a dealer for a bundle. It is way too easy to fake an autograph, so I wouldn't trust this guy as far as I could throw him, especially as there is no way to hold him accountable (except for time consuming and bothersome mail fraud charges) if he doesn't come through. Also, he misspelled "Grammy", and seems to have a large amount of autographed SC stuff. All those things should make you very very suspicious. This guy should be avoided, it's just too easy for him to magically make SC autographs with a sharpie pen. He could be legit, but it is probably not worth the risk... Christina ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 17 Mar 1999 01:01:18 EST From: SCFANCLUB2@aol.com Subject: Autographs, Camden, and articles Hey Crew, A couple of things.. From watching Sheryl sign autographs in the past, I've noticed that she usually tends to ask the person "To whom should I sign it to?" when she's signing something that could easily be sold for a few bucks, ESPECIALLY guitars. I think she's really smart about who's a legit fan and who's going to try to rip a fan off. So my advice, unless it says "To Bob, Sheryl Crow" or something like that, or there's some sort of proof it's authentic, it's possibly fake. For the Camden show, Semisonic will be the opening act. Also, I've just added the Musician Magazine April 1999 interview with Sheryl on my website. You can read it at http://www-scf.usc.edu/~cmejia/musician.html Sorry for any typos, but enjoy.
