The Dime admin team are complete fascists in their adherance to their strict doctrines but they do have some fine live gigs available. I do agree with their zero tolerance of material available in shops and their policy of removing anything the original artist requests is removed. I don't agree with their 'NO Mp3' rule - an mp3 of a crackly 30 year old cassette tape recorded at a gig by someone with a recorder in his pocket [ooh - is that recorder in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?!] will sound just as good as a 24 bit WAVE. Once you get yout head round the software it's basically a case of keeping your ratio up - don't just download and then shut down, leave the program running so you are sharing and others can benefit - if you also upload stuff you have, that helps your ratio, but there's no need as long as you share what you have taken from their site. I fell fowl of their rules recently due downloading a live dvd and then creating a dvd from the files and then deleting the original which meant i wasn't sharing. Last night my upload of the Shakespeare Theatre gig was downloaded by others about 35 times and now my ration is good - I was just fortunate to have something others didn't. Basically, as long as you share what others gave you, you will be ok.
