I saw them with the orchestra at Glasto and it was brilliant... Didn't pay much mind to the personnel because the strings were blowing me away. My biggest issue with the guys right now is that the setlists are lazy and predictable... I mean these guys have nearly 30 years of material to pull from and we get The same songs/90 minute sets... The strings were something special, and some of the OR tracks hadn't been heard live is a long time... Outside of this... I don't go too far from home for the shows anymore... Sad considering these guys are responsible for some amazing tunes... Would it kill them to dust off stars are stars, with a hip, or heck even a single off their later records... Like it's alright, make me shine, stuff like that... I could do without the nine millionth live version of nothing last forever as a b-side too... Another rant for another day.... - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Steven Bowie Sent: Monday, October 19, 2009 7:35 AM To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: RE: seven-seas Roundhouse Gig Thank god am not the only one who thought he was a bit embarassing...Just did,nt want to say it incase it offended, but hey,if noone says anything, everyone thinks it,s fine...and it,s not..sorry...
