The great thing is that the Bunnymen are actually headlining a stage this year (John Peel stage), and they're doing the Ocean Rain set. I've been on here for years, though I'm pretty lazy and just read the odd post, but if anyone is going and fancies hooking up to watch their first Glasto headline in a long time (ever?) then give me a shout! Surprised me, but it seems the space thing is perhaps the reason they can get away with it at a festival. Could be wrong, but I'm just trying to find the site. I've seen a few headline sets in the John Peel tent and, perhaps because it's situated near the Pyramid, it doesn't get a full crowd, which means it's their audience and they can do their own thing. Remember comfortably watching John Cale from a few feet away one year. - -------------------------------------------------- From: "Red" Sent: Sunday, June 14, 2009 11:49 PM To: Subject: Re: seven-seas EATB at Glastonbury > At 06:30 PM 6/14/2009, you wrote: >>Hi there >> >>Just wondering if anyone on here is planning on doing Glastonbury >>this year.
