Hey, I've been taping shows since the early 80's and now I'm called an amateur. Should I be offended? OT, it was great to finally meet you and your family, Red. I've been looking forward to it for years and it was a pleasure. Like you and me, I'm glad you appreciate audience recordings. Should I be offended? << Ehm, no -- I wouldn't think so.. I got the sense the term was used as to distinguish from organized "official" recordings, put out by a label, etc. For the record, I advocated to the band many years ago about the value of tape trees, etc., and never was met with any resistance. It's been proven over and over that bands who encourage such things routinely do better in the marketplace than those who don't. This goes for everyone from The Dead to Metallica (in the early days). I'm sure if there's an official release of these gigs, we'll all be buying one... ;) best, FBC ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ **************Bunnymen Online Presence******************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ http://www.villiersterrace.com/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stevedoughty/index.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 7 Oct 2008 20:48:07 -0700 From: "Paige K. Many of the ones on flickr are only about a quarter of the actual resolution. If no one volunteers, I might be able to work on it in the next few weeks. - Paige I've been absent this list since 2003, and had a hard time finding the list to re-subscribe. it's nice to be back!
