Recently a t*sser emailed them pretending to be Bunnymen management and had all Bunnymen content banned. Peter Allen had the ban lifted. Dimes policy is as long as the recordings are ''audio and video recordings of independent origin (ROIO) which have not been officially released'' they allow them to be posted [as long as the artist does not complain]. So basically, there is no problem with amateur recordings. Of course, a lot of torrent sites have links to released stuff [e.g. one has every bunnymen album downloadable as a huge archive] - which is totally wrong. Genuine question - I don't know. If not, I guess you could stick it on any torrent site - all it would take is a couple of seeders to get it going for the larger community. Sure, Dime can be frustrating, difficult and a little snooty at times but it is for the right reasons.
