The good news is: they are back in the UK again soon!! Not sure, though, if Sharin Foo is back with them yet. (Possibly still with her sister on vocals). The last time they played at 229 Portland Street, they blew up the sound system.... :-)) You may also want to check out Scotland's *Manhattan Love Suicides *and *Sons & Daughters*. In a similar vein to the Mary Chain are *Ringo Deathstarr *as well. And if it's something along the lines of *'Psychocandy' *you're after (but no 60s pop sensibilities this time - just noise) are *A Place to Bury Strangers*. Even louder than MBV live.
