First set seemed OK but mostly the usual stuff, nice to hear zimbo though, but the OR set was stunning - everything about it just right. A few on the forums have moaned about the sound up in the gods but down on the floor it was spot on. My only moan is it seemed altogther too short - however was that because it was so effing good? I have to admit there were times when I felt quite emotional - I think it's probably a connection to lost times.....however I fecking well loved it. Good to meet some of you again and indeed some for the first time (knowingly). Tijn honest mate it wasn't a breakdown in Anglo-Dutch relations I just couldn't resist those stalls tickets - really glad we met you after tho, and looking forward to your review of the gig. When I say 'good to meet some of you again' I meant it in insomuch that I only met some of you, and not that it wasn't nice to meet the remainder of those we met......Oh you know what I mean. Oh yeh felt Will overdid it with the eyecontact bit - I found it a tad threatening.........however no complaints re his maestronic performance, for me top marks for all the band.....Oh and Ians voice top top form - 'cept when he was speakin' then it was impossible to understand him - what's that all about? Loved the orchrestra - felt maybe they weren't prominent enough????? Ok hands up the guy from Glasgow we were talking to in the queue for a halftime beer. Of you people that are going to Liverpool - Jealous dead jealous. Enjoy we did. I'm off to pull some string now. KP > so then, what did you think?
