Thanks -- very sweet. I have my old version archived somewhere and I keep meaning to post it just as a tribute site. Some of the interactive bits would need a re-working as time and technology have marched on, and I'd have to disable the forum, of course.... But that's no excuse. I'll get it happening as soon as I reasonably can. At the moment I am juggling six clients. (!) But it was a fun time, a special time, and I really enjoyed it, even though I eventually had to stop. I get vague error messages like this when someone posts a message And it's not from the account that they receive the list at. Honestly... with full mailboxes/bounced messages etc... I get A LOT of these type "error" messages and don't Always catch the legit ones. Sorry. This type of rule Keeps the list free of spam so it's a necessary evil. - -Dennis - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] Sent: Wednesday, February 13, 2008 4:39 PM To: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: BOUNCE seven-seas@smoe.org: Non-member submission from ["Ted Turner" ] Received: from mta.uwinnipeg.ca (mta.uwinnipeg.ca [142.132.1.13]) by smoe.org (8.13.8/8.13.8) with ESMTP id m1DLbI0l025139 for ; Wed, 13 Feb 2008 16:38:18 -0500 (EST) Received: from UWSATed (uwsa110.uwinnipeg.ca [142.132.26.110]) by mta.uwinnipeg.ca (Postfix) with SMTP id 34E11F1E65 for ; Wed, 13 Feb 2008 15:37:12 -0600 (CST) From: "Ted Turner" To: Subject: RE: seven-seas - 'new look' www.bunnymen.com site Date: Wed, 13 Feb 2008 15:37:19 -0600 Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" X-Mailer: Microsoft Outlook IMO, Build 9.0.6604 (9.0.2911.0) In-Reply-To: X-Virus-Scanned: ClamAV 0.91/5803/Wed Feb 13 15:25:54 2008 on smoe.org X-Virus-Status: Clean X-Greylist: IP, sender and recipient auto-whitelisted, not delayed by milter-greylist-2.0 (smoe.org [199.201.145.78]); Wed, 13 Feb 2008 16:38:19 -0500 (EST) X-Converted-To-Plain-Text: from multipart/mixed by demime 0.97c-p1 X-Converted-To-Plain-Text: Alternative section used was text/plain hello....my posts dont ost....blacklisted? finally! tt - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org]On Behalf Of Easley, Dennis Sent: Wednesday, February 13, 2008 2:26 PM To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: RE: seven-seas - 'new look' www.bunnymen.com site For the time, franks version was ahead of its time... Remember the old jukebox? First time I heard some of those b-sides. Ivan's version... well it was at least more geared towards marketing the band... I remember it had links to amazon etc for new stuff. Seemed pretty lo-fi though, certainly not due to lack of ambition... Ivan wanted it to have more multimedia and he ventured there from time to time... IMHO without a great deal of success... but at least he tried. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Steve & Holly | Exiles in Andalucia Sent: Wednesday, February 13, 2008 3:11 PM To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: Re: seven-seas - 'new look' www.bunnymen.com site The previous version was, as you describe the current one, pi** poor too!- anyone remember the content and excellent visual style of both Frank and Ivan's versions?
