The only explanation I can think of is that the standing tickets are in the 'arena' area where the seats are normally pushing 50 quid so its some claw back on that. Seats will be sent by normal post - basically, if someone steals your tickets in the post, you could kick them out of your numbered seat! (It'd be more difficult to trace someone standing....)
