I bought the substance New Order album on CD recently. I used to have it on tape and it is still an amazing album. He seemed to have a passion for music and I still remember Granada reports though I live in the South of England. I think the world is an amazing place at times and to kiss the seven seas and holiday in places like Barcelona, Paris and New York would be fantastic. I'm skint these days but dream about far flung places. I had the opportunity to go to Barbados last year which was amazing to swim with turtles. I wish i had the money to travel in my holidays but sometimes Salisbury where I live is beautiful. I spend my mornings at a Cafe Mocha in the market square and it's beautiful watching the world go by! Trippinout Dear Friends, On the morning of August 11, 2007, Ross Attenborough, A.K.A. Trippinout passed away in his sleep. He had a heart attack, but did not suffer. He had just turned 46 on August 9th. He is survived by his wife, Teka and his son, Austin age 8. I am so grateful for the times we had even though it was short. We met at Chapman University in 1986 and became fast friends for a few years. We started dating in October 1991 and eventually got married in December 1996. We had Austin 2 years later in June 1999, a date the he had picked since I had to be induced. We would have been married for 11 years in December, but were together as a couple for 16 years. Like most married couples we had our share of ups and downs. However, we knew we were it for each other. We loved each other warts and all!! The legacy that he leaves behind is his passion for music. Underneath it all he was a Dead Head and his favorite band was Echo and the Bunnymen. Will Seargent was his favorite guitarist. He even got to spend some time with him last year when they were here in the US and he played at the Galaxy Theatre. He was working part time at the theatre because he wanted to be around live music and meet old and new bands. During the day he worked for State Farm Insurance as a litigation specialist and was a tough and shrewd neogotiator. His greatest regret was not going into the music world professionally. Ross accomplished so much in the short time he was here with us. He climbed the pyramids in Egypt before they got closed to the public. He went to Cambridge University to study for a while and he travelled to Japan. He graduated from Chapman University with a Bachelors of Science in Finance and a minor in Theology. He actually graduated Cum Laude, with honors. He was very close to his parents Ed and Elaine and always called his mom everyday to tell her he loved her. You can always tell how a man is going to treat his wife based on how he treats his mother. He treated her like gold! Having Austin was the crowning achievement of his life. He loved Austin with everything he had and then some. He would tell Austin "I love you big much". He would have his arms spread wide open to quantify it so Austin could understand his father's love for him. He volunteered at our church and taught junior high Sunday school. His passion for the kids was very evident by the amount of time he spent with them. They just loved him!!! He was Mr. Ross to them. I liken Ross' life to that of a very bright star that burns out much to quickly. I will miss him so much. He made me laugh everyday we knew each other. His humor is what drew me to him and made me give my heart to him. He taught me so much about music that I never would have ever known. The last concert he went to last month was a Bob Dylan at the Pacific Amphitheater. He told me he could have died and gone to heaven. Wow!!! The last six weeks of his life he was the happiest. He lived his life on his terms and very much to the fullest. I am taking comfort in the fact that he is with the Heavenly Father and he is at peace finally. He will be greatly missed by those that he touched. Please keep us in your prayers as I have the daunting task of raising Ross' son and turning him into the man he would have wanted him to be. Many blessings, Teka and Austin Attenborough ************************************** Get a sneak peek of the all-new AOL at http://discover.aol.com/memed/aolcom30tour ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ **************Bunnymen Online Presence******************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ http://www.villiersterrace.com/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stevedoughty/index.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 16 Aug 2007 10:17:40 -0500 From: "Easley, Dennis" Subject: RE: seven-seas Re: Ross Attenborough, A.K.A.
