I've just uploaded this master on Dime a Dozen. Echo and the Bunnymen The Savoy, New York City March 31, 1984 Okay, sixth time's a charm, folks. This is one of the earliest shows I ever recorded. Off my battery optional Yamaha home deck and some Beyer mics borrowed from film school. We were up in the balcony, apparently near the sound system. Mac's voice sounds great. Had trouble getting the recording started, but it finally kicked in at the tail end of the first song, Going Up.
