Fopp started out great, but they couldn't resist putting more and more racks, book podia, et al clogging up the shops. The queues were so big in the Bristol stores, you couldn't browse half the shop, and tie that in with all the rucksack carrying masses ( the shop was in studentland), being in there was just a chore. It was sad a couple of years ago, greed and/or naivety got the better of them. To come to think of it, "physical" shopping in general hasn't been a pleasant experience for years now.
