Just read this article.......how comes noone ever mentions stuff online any more BEFORE it sells out?? :-( Cohen supposedly wrote all the songs and produced an album for Anjani (one of his female backing vocalists on "Hallelujah" from Various Positions) and will be at her NYC show at Joe's Pub on April 24th! No one knows if he will perform........but it's probably a safe bet he will! A 2nd show was added, but no one knows (isn't it Everybody Knows?? hehehee) if he will stick around for it. Damn.............i think it'd be worth $20 + expenses to travel all the way to NYC to catch ONE song with him dueting with one of his own backing vocalists from the 80's coz everybody knows (< --LOL) he won't be around that much longer! :-( http://www.brooklynvegan.com/archives/2007/03/leanord_cohen_presents_anjani_-_2007_tour_dates.html Check out the article....it mentions his reissues. It's not a bad album at all. I like it better than the gray album, personally. The band is on fire on that disc. Noel suffers more from comparison to Ian than he evinces any particular lack of talent IMO.
