The extra tracks look like the b-sides from that era, but you never know. Still, it's good to have The Prodigal Sons stuff freely available again plus 'fixion stuff like "Holy Grail". Shame "The Circle Game" didn't make the cut. Always had a soft spot for that one...shame it lost out, especially when they've included live versions of Mysterio tracks instead ; I suspect, it was overlooked because the original was the 2nd, ltd 12" single. Still, both releases are good value I reckon. Funnily enough, been listening to Candleland quite a bit recently...it's a little lost gem, I tell you ; has aged surprisingly well. I've tried to list the tracks missing from each release to give an idea of completeness (thanks to Brian for his excellent discography). Feel free to correct anything...I rushed through it. So, both releases don't include *everything* from their respective eras, which is a shame ; it would have been good to get things like "There Is A War" on CD, proper, given that the original is ridiculously rare plus the U.S. b-sides like "Birdy" and "Ribbon & Chains" which ended up making their way onto "WAYGTDWYL", albeit in different versions. But, given that these re-releases are selling for less than #9 each, it's hard to complain...especially given the quality of some of the Mac solo stuff (I'm probably the only person who liked 'Mysterio' at the time...) *** Mac Reissues *** Disc: 1 === Candleland === 1.
