I think there may be some reinterpretation but he usually manages the big note at the end of ocean rain itself, and though he threw a bit of a wobbly the other year when people started swaying and singing along to the killing moon he now seems to have accepted it as part of his rock godliness. At liverpool in december the place seemed to erupt a bit whenever they played anything from OR, or maybe it was just the people around me. Never quite got why people pogo to seven seas even though it is quite jolly - though having said that, they probably dont get why some miserable old sod is standing at the back with a pint tapping his foot gently. Think along the lines of, 'wow its really great how mr mcculloch, sir, has reinvented his vocal style to fit in with 300 ciggies a day a day' or something like that. Last I heard it was to be at the Roundhouse in Camden. Will said they wanted to play the Roundhouse 'too'... the same time he told me about the cave gig. So many people are saying so many different things it's hard to actually know anything for sure any more. But just going by what he said to me, they were 'talking about' and 'looking into' (and nothing was for sure at that point yet) doing a weird little tour of a few odd gigs and the Roundhouse was mentioned, along with the cave thing with full orchestra. He told me they had just started talking about this and nothing was certain, not even 'any idea' WHEN this would happen........ so not wanting to get my hopes up, or anyone else's, i never said anything to anyone about it until they started talking about it on the forum.... and then I never even said this much.....because I know how their plans change! As of the last DJ night in London, I had heard that NOTHING was definite yet for any of those things........so as of this moment we can probably assume that nothing is planned yet, and if any of it happens it'll be really cool! But i think we all need to just wait for something to be announced! I think they need to get the album finished first! Last year they didn't announce the tour until March 22, and it began on May 29. So going by that, there's still time to hope that something can still be planned for the spring! :-) Red ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ **************Bunnymen Online Presence******************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ http://www.villiersterrace.com/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stevedoughty/index.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 23 Feb 2007 17:20:19 -0000 From: "KPJ" Subject: Re: seven-seas test .......'Oh look Matthew an obvious witch........WITCH!!!!.....HERETIC........GARR WOOF' > And obviously if you are thinkinhg of joining the 'official' forum such > comments are strictly banned and will be removed. As long as you're not some huge woman with equally huge bosoms carrying 4 pints of lager cross auditorium during a gig barging everyone out off the way..............and then coming back again 5 minutes later still carrying the same (slightly depleted) pints - then hey fill yer boots (probably stood next to ya anyway) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ **************Bunnymen Online Presence******************** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ http://www.villiersterrace.com/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ http://homepage.ntlworld.com/stevedoughty/index.html ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ * ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V6 #38 *******************************
