" God, I used to have a room like that, though I didn't live in a mansion. It was a veritable shrine to all the bands I loved and the Bunnymen probably had the most wall space (with an Ocean Rain era poster (just faces), amongst other things, on the wall. The room remained that way, long after I was gone and it was always cool to walk back into it, when I would visit my Mom. It was kind of like stepping into a time machine. I had to help her sell it and move her out about a year ago and it was kind of sad to dismantle the old shrine, but I guess "nothing lasts forever". Mac at his best on this one- right off the bat sounds cooler than ever (the second verse!!). Dean from Curve on bass woulda been great here with Toni doing a back vocal! This song is addictive. And those little neon light amoeba voices, like on Bigmouth by that morris guys band, sound perfect here- really eerie. Listening to it now,,, yeh this is good - trippy trippy! hang on to a dream- i dunno yet, seems like it's missing something, or should be an intro to a full blown assault on that song. I wanna hear Will and some drums crash into it and fill it out about halfway through All My Colo(u)rs - interesting- but I used to listen to that for the drums. that whistling call sound on the original at the beginning with pete in a trance was incredible silver- didn't even bother downloading that one (i know, sacrilige, but that one goes into the fluffy bin with dancing horses in my opinionated little closet) i guess there is one I am missing? they re-did one more EATB tune? other misc: i found the bedbugs and ballyhoo cut without doorman raymond- great poppy music. but i've never liked all the kangaroo and chipmunk , bedbugs stuff aggh .
