This past friday morning, there was a pieced together interview segment with Angelina Jolie on NBC's Today show. "The Killing Moon" was used as the background music throughout, which was very cool, and a bit of a surprise to me, so I thought I'd share the info. Does anyone have any other uses, on non-music related shows? _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com - ----- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with the message: unsubscribe seven-seas or unsubscribe seven-seas-digest to get off the digest Will the last one to leave the list please turn out the lights? ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 27 Dec 2000 09:00:26 -0500 From: redhead Subject: re: seven-seas celestial At 11:25 AM 12/27/2000, P.J. wrote: >--- >Thanks, Diana. > >(PS: Don't tell anyone I drive a Citroen diesel, am very interested in canal >boats, get a real kick out of re-pointing brick walls and make Harry Hill >look like a sex god.) Sounds good. I'm looking forward to their new album. By the way: I had no problems at all with gimmemusic: got my Avalanche within 5 days ! The Jimmy Grimble cd I ordered is still on its way (via Amazon). To be honest: I was a bit disappointed with the standard of the songs. I think Mac needs some inspiration: he sings so "bored". I miss the passion in his voice (listen to Baby Blue on On Strike and the original versions of Angels and Silver). Let's hope their new work has the old passion again. "Tricks" about a frustrated gay boy coming of age. "The Killing Moon" was playing as the guy was trying to live out a fantasy of receiving head while he was playing the piano (Ha!). The timing of the song was meaningful if not a tad bizarre.
