The stockings were hung by our monitors with care in hopes that St. Bunnymonster soon would be there. The fans were all nestled all snug in their beds while visions of new Bunny CDs danced in their heads. The chicks in their kerchiefs the dudes in their caps, had just settled down for their long winter's naps. When out in Cyberspace there arose such a clatter, Fans sprang from their beds to see what was the matter. Away to our computers we flew in a flash. We booted up again... hoping not to crash. The Killing Moon on the breast of the new fallen snow, as redhead yelled impatiently "Why's my damn connection so slow???" When who to our wondering eyes should appear but Turgut from Turkey saying "Will.....please hear..." Faster than eagles his beggings they came "I want Reverb B-sides, Turgut is my name!" He asked Chris and Frank and everyone else. We laughed when we read this in spite of ourselves. When the commotion was over we hopped back in our beds and dreamed dreams of Bunnymen gigs in our heads. The hall was atmospheric with nostalgic decor. Our shoes were all stuck to the beer on the floor. The air, thick with smoke and anticipation, as they entered the stage... they'd brought Les Pattinson!!! They appeared thru the fog all the Bunnymen they came, and they started the gig with a song called 'The Game'. Will's head looking down with his hair in his face, his guitar was dead on not a note out of place. Mac walked to the mic, took his usual stance with a smirk he looked out at the crowd with a glance. The butt of a cig he held tight in his teeth, and the smoke it encircled his ego like a wreath. He sung with great style, lotsa hair and those lips, made all the girls sigh when he wiggled his hips! Better than ever the classics they played the fans they all shouted and called them by name... Play 'Silver', Play 'Zimbo' Please play them all, and especially please please play 'Over the Wall'! The gig was not over till they played 'Do It Clean' the fans all agreed 'twas the best that they'd seen. Afterwards everyone stayed for a beer, the whole 7-seas list, everybunny was there! Della, Anne, and Stephen Charles Pham and his brothers the Prince of Happiness Le Quebec and some others. Kalhoun, Matt and Ali Sharon and Red and Galaimpter who wore a drink on his head! Ivan, Ken and Dennis Raj and Jon Hickmott P.J. and Stoobie the whole fucking lot! We had a such party we said lots of cheers, Merry Christmas my friends have a Bunny New Year!!!! ~Red - ----- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with the message: unsubscribe seven-seas or unsubscribe seven-seas-digest to get off the digest Will the last one to leave the list please turn out the lights? ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Dec 2000 10:36:18 -0500 From: Frank Coleman Subject: Re: seven-seas 'Twas the Night Before 'List'mas A holiday classic is born. I found out when I went to get the papers for my route...I think I cried door to door for 50 houses...my little transistor radio shoved in my pocket as they'd broken format, and all music stations played wall-to-wall Beatles & Lennon songs.
