Hang On To A Dream - Love the first bit of guitar - really grabs you, really moody and grand. Stunning vocals - this one really suits Macs voice. Avalanche - Not that impressed to start with, it just sounded like loads of do do do's - but I like it now - the do do do bits are fine by me, lots of weird knob twiddling Will type noises - yeah it's Bunnymen for the 21st Century. Love the guitar bit in the middle with the ahhh ahhhh ahhh bit.. All My Colours (Zimbo) Well you can't improve on the original in my opinion but it's a good second best. I prefer Mac's vocals on the original he sounded so desparate/broken. Theremin is cool. Silver Love the opening and Mac's vocals sound like young Mac to me. Sounds a bit more urgent/punchy. Great guitar break in middle classic Will - cooool. Angels and Devils I only know the original on really scratchy vinyl so it maybe unfair to say that this one is better, but I think it probably is. It's All Over Now Never heard original song but yeah it's a great arrangement. Well thinking out loud here but thinking (dangerous I know) that in that interview Mac did he said that WAYGDWYL was like the closing frames of a film, where it all resolves and now we have this ep which starts out with Hang On To a Dream - the Bunnymen dream maybe? followed by a new track for the fans including the lyric 'can I take it when you go' - followed by three reworks of Bunnymen classics ie the ones that were chosen by the fans on the NME website and finished off with IT'S ALL OVER NOW ....... It sort of looks like a 'Thank you and goodnight' kind of ep......mmmmm let's hope not..... Everyone has mentioned that they sound more like a band, a unit. EATB/Electrafixion have gone through quite a few different band memebers. Just courious as to who's playing what. Of course, I could go into some rant about how Pete can never be replaced. Overall, I just hope they can find somebody who contributes to the sound and isn't just a scab studio drummer. Dear Ivan, I've just returned from a holiday and of course my first surf was to see if the Tokyo collection had expanded. After clicking James's portrait I got a message that track 4 would be Killing Moon, then I was called a Smart Bunny and I was transferred to a new page where I was invited to download track 6, The Cutter. However, this download failed (I got an error message from some provider site). What am I doing wrong? I have a feeling that I somehow solved the puzzle but got stuck in technical problems.
