I just thought you all ought to know that a shiny new copy of the new ep dropped through my letterbox this morning, courtesy of Gimmemusic. I've not had a chance to listen to it yet as I'm out at work, but at least it shows that Gimmemusic does actually work, even if it does take forever to get the damned site to accept your details! If i order from Gimmemusic at all, it will be after hearing that someone over here was able to successfully order and receive a CD from those fools. Thanks. However, I was kind of hoping for a little slip of paper in the packet to say thanks for ordering from Gimmemusic.co.uk or sorry for any problems you may have experienced on the site - but nothing, oh well no surprises there then!! Come to think of it, there was no invoice - maybe they've decided to let me have for nothing for all the inconvenience - ha ha ha ha ha....... I ordered the Aerial Love Feed EP from Clairecords.com in the USA and I ordered it in the conventional way by phone, it arrived a few days later here in UK and it had a piece of paper shaped like a pumpkin with the words thanks for your order Sharon handwritten and the EP was actually tied with a ribbon!! It was just so friendly, what a contrast!! Oh well, hoping for better in future..... I can't say enough about www.clairecords.com ...they're friendly people, have a good stock of out-of-the-way music, and their site works!!! I've emailed with inquiries and they get right back to me. They even have a small record label with a LOT of great music...a quality endeavor. tim - ----- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with the message: unsubscribe seven-seas or unsubscribe seven-seas-digest to get off the digest And here we thought Mattel was happy just cutting Ken's nads off: http://anon.free.anonymizer.com/http://www.openpgp.net/censorship/index2.html ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 28 Oct 2000 18:47:14 -0400 From: redhead Subject: Re: seven-seas Re: It would appear that this Gimmemusic thing actually works At 11:25 PM 10/28/2000 +0100, you wrote: >Me too, I'm waiting for a quiet moment to give it my >undivided attention! On Friday I was at work, listening to a local radio station, Beat 106, a song came on, it was Stephen Hawking. I nearly pissed myself, as did the person working with me. Hawking was "singing" about getting some "poontang". I realised this must be a piss take, especially as the DJ Robin Banks is re-nowned for making crank calls live on air. Was this anyone we know perhaps, who gave this station this song. I don't know the title but it was funny as f****. - ----- To unsub, mail majordomo@smoe.org with the message: unsubscribe seven-seas or unsubscribe seven-seas-digest to get off the digest And here we thought Mattel was happy just cutting Ken's nads off: http://anon.free.anonymizer.com/http://www.openpgp.net/censorship/index2.html ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 29 Oct 2000 00:50:38 +0100 From: "mark kerr" Subject: Re: seven-seas Re: It would appear that this Gimmemusic thing actually works I'm British.
