The Echo & The Bunnymen star has been announced as the face of a new talent search, inspired by TV contests such as "X-Factor". McCulloch will head a judging panel for the campaign, with the victorious band winning a demo produced by some industry hot-shots, before performing a private show in London. Speaking about the launch of the contest, McCulloch commented: "I'm really excited about being involved in this. "I know myself how difficult the music industry can be to break into, especially if you sound or look a bit different to everyone else. "But we need to encourage diversity in music, and campaigns like this are exactly the sort of thing that could uncover the next big thing in the music world."
