Finally we have Kiss Me x3 with Hey You! on it, also love the 2nd cd with demos, live etc which gives one an insight into the band's progression/regression. That's the way to do justice as opposed to just plonking out the exact same track listing as on the original cd & expecting me to buy it again because it "sounds better". Also listening to the HOB Anaheim show a lot. Gotta love InstantLive. What a pity the DM equivalents are so expensive... - --------------------------------- Get your email and more, right on the new Yahoo.com ===================================================================== Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ http://bunnymen.nexuswebs.net/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ * ====================================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 7 Sep 2006 18:33:57 +0100 From: "Raj" Subject: RE: seven-seas Re:Mac's trial Small article in Metro and Guardian papers today saying that Mac wasnt happy with them using the backstage toiletsSerious shit!> From: whitings@frontiernet.net> To: seven-seas@smoe.org> Subject: seven-seas Re:Mac's trial> Date: Thu, 7 Sep 2006 06:03:37 -0400> > Banged on the head while she's sitting on the toilet...just goes to show > that shit happens, I guess.> > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "seven-seas-digest" > To: > Sent: Thursday, September 07, 2006 4:10 AM> Subject: seven-seas-digest V5 #232> > > >> > seven-seas-digest Thursday, September 7 2006 Volume 05 : Number > > 232> >> >> >> >> > - ----------------------------------------------------------------------> >> > Date: Wed, 6 Sep 2006 22:30:11 +0100> > From: "Barry Whiting" > > Subject: seven-seas Mac's trial> >> > Bits here:> >> > http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/glasgow_and_west/5320988.stm> >> > - -- B.> > > > =====================================================================> Bunnymen Online Presence:> http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info> http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/> http://bunnymen.nexuswebs.net/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/> *> > ======================================================================> _________________________________________________________________ Be one of the first to try Windows Live Mail. http://ideas.live.com/programpage.aspx?versionId=5d21c51a-b161-4314-9b0e-4911 fb2b2e6d ===================================================================== Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ http://bunnymen.nexuswebs.net/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ * ====================================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 7 Sep 2006 20:23:36 +0100 From: "Barry Whiting" Subject: seven-seas New Bunnymen bootleg on dimeadozen I know there's a couple of folks here interested in such things but another Bunnymen boot has just been posted on www.dimeadozen.org. It's an FM radio broadcast that includes tracks that ended up on the "Heaven Up Here" re-issue. There's an MP3 sample on the link. I've not downloaded the tracks yet but the sample does back-up the statement that "the Bunnies were on fire". Enjoy. Details thus: Echo & The Bunnymen - Manly Vale Hotel, Sydney November 1981 - 2JJJ FM ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Link: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=111060 This from my tape of the original 2JJJ broadcast, about a week after the show. Saw about three shows from this tour, not this one though, and the Bunnies were on fire. The broadcast was an edited version of the show and I have also had to delete four tracks as they appear on the expanded 'Heaven Up Here' CD. Still, sounds pretty good to me. Check the sample. Its been proving difficult to maintain even at a basic level these days. If any of you or someone you know who's interested in taking over the site, lemme know. It's great to have a companion source for Bunnymen news, but I'm unable to manage it any longer on a consistent basis. The news section is built on a Blogger template-scheme, so managing that section is straight forward if you've published blogs before. My apologies for everyone out there who visit the site consistently. It's been a fun few years, but it would be a disservice to everyone if I continued to try to keep things running. It's best to allow someone who's more in turned with what the Bunnymen are up to these days... So lemme know if you're interested... ===================================================================== Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ http://bunnymen.nexuswebs.net/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ * ====================================================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V5 #233 ********************************
