I don't think Chris Sharrock cares as he is Robbie Williams' drummer and flies around the world in a private jet! Apparently the use of the name 'Icicle Works' is happening because McNabb was offered a 'serious' sum of money to do so and there will also be an album of re-recordings of Iceys songs, plus, I believe a live album. If I recall, McNabb said that the tour is UK only unless plans change, I guess it's down to moolah! Steve G. p.s. There is an Ian McNabb list but I recently left as I found many of the members real saddos and there's more bitching than we ever had in Seven Seas, even in Turdguts days! try www.ianmcnabb.com ----- Original Message ----- From: Theodore Turner To: seven-seas@smoe.org Sent: Friday, March 10, 2006 4:49 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas Icicle Works 25th Anniversary Gigs This is classic lineup icicle works???? Oh man....say it isn't so.....i'd much have heard he was a high school art teacher or something!.......it was McNabb that wrote all the songs tho right? But Hollow Horse & stuff like that just feels like the 3 of them in creation together.... magic....man that9s good stuff...doesnt date either ===================================================================== Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ http://bunnymen.nexuswebs.net/ * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ * ====================================================================== ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 10 Mar 2006 17:48:29 -0000 From: "Raj" Subject: RE: seven-seas Icicle Works 25th Anniversary Gigs I just rejoined but I do remember it was a bit of a pain which is why I left. McNabb used to pop by every now and then but not sure if he does anymore. I think Ian had a big falling out with Laythe so no love lost there but Roy Corkhill is pretty solid. Be great to see Sharrock who is a great drummer and wasted in that turds band though Matty is a great drummer and really nice fella too, bumped into him a couple of times. Stu, going to any of these IM or IW shows? - -----Original Message----- From: Steve Griffiths p.s.
