She was very bright and was going to do her teaching practice in London. I also remember a great bunch of people from Ealing which is near southall when I was at Leeds University. I applied about 8 years ago for a post at Cardinal Wiseman School in Ealing. It was probably due to the Irish family I met from Ealing who I thought were great fun. I was at a stage in my life where I wanted to live down in London to experience the life. I had interviews in Dagenham, Blackheath & Ealing but unfortunately I was unsuccessful. I don't think it helped at my interview at Cardinal Wiseman when I said I was Agnostic, it being a atholic School ! I loved getting off the train in Ealing with it's huge green. I've spent alot of time in South London as my patner used to teach near Brixton. I love the UK and don't think I'd like to live over in America. This country has the opportunity to be the real "land of opportunity". I enjoy a wide variety of food but hate traditional English meals like "roast beef" I'd much rather have Japanese, Chinnese or a curry ! All the best Jonathan Sweeney. Ps any pub is great if they serve Guinness or Peroni. But most important it doesn't matter if you drink water as long as the people are friendly & the music great. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Raj" To: Sent: Thursday, November 10, 2005 11:25 AM Subject: seven-seas OT: Ruby Murry > Where do you live, came across a decent Indian place in SF in the mission > area.
