I saw them at the beginning of the year, and they can still do it live big time. The setlist usually comproses of old and ne stuff, as well as tunes from the cinerama days. I've only got the "George best" album can you recommend any other of their albums. I've ordered Clayhill's album from Virgin which will be my only acquisition for along time. It takes two weeks but I can't wait. Clayhill's acoustic album which I've got is brilliant. I love a wide and eclectic range of music & when I'm in a different mood I like listening to Primal Scream's "Give out but don't give up" album which is slightly rockyer than some of the other stuff. I love "Vanishing point" & think this album was Primal Scream at their peak although "Some Velvet Morning" is a fantastic song. I'm afraid I'm more into poetry these days & biographys. All the best Jon Sweeney. Ps I wish their were a few fresh bands to listen to. The radio often plays the same old naff eighties stuff like Duran Duran down here ! I would love a web site which has new Innovative sounds. I once went to ) Telford's Warehouse in Chester where they showcased some really good bands. Sinister and fun is my type of music. Can anyone recommend any good new bands & web sites. I don't like the grundge / Seattle sound. The Bunnymen I think will always inspire brilliant images on the brain ! - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stu Bird" To: Sent: Sunday, October 30, 2005 2:25 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas Wedding present > Hi Jon, > > Their new single is great and they are currently > touring the UK. You also need "Bizarro"...songs like "Kennedy" can keep you young forever...it SHREDS!! "Hit Parade One" is also essential I'd say.
