Probably best value for money for live act that I can think of. I did enjoy the short blast of The Darkness he did at last years Bristol gig, he can really get those high notes. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Stu Bird Sent: 07 October 2005 21:00 To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: Re: seven-seas Icicle Works Hi Ted, We saw McNabb here in Bristol a month ago when he did a solo gig.. He spent the whole evening both on and off stage taking the piss out of me as I was wearing a Bunnymen t-shirt.. All good banter.. I think !!! The setlist will differ when he does a full band gig, and the xmas gigs can be anything at all, and have been known to go on 2+ hours You can almost guarantee Evangeline, When It All Comes Down, Understanding Jane, Little Girl Lost Often you will get Birds Fly, Love Is A Wonderful Colour, Hollow Horse, Up Here In The North Of England, Who Do You Want For Your Love. Sometimes you get literally anything from his back catalogue, or current releases Live, you will always get cover versions as well, and any song by anyone is fair game to him if he's in the mood. Even requests !! Although my wife would have preferred the McNabb bash this xmas ( i think ), we're doing the Bunnymen instead.
