Hi, I love the crystal days box set 1979-1999. My favourite track has to be angels & Devils, along with Zimbo with the Brurundi Drummers. I think it depends on what mood I'm in which Bunnymen album I listen to! When I want to rage a little I tend to listen to "Heaven up Here" with "Show of strength" & "Over the wall". Evergreen I feel is more bitter/sweet and "Nothing lasts forever" a very chilled out track. I love the line "your phoney smile would shame a politician" off "Heaven up here". I like people to have passion & guts in life although at times it's a little hard for most. Porcupine is also a very clever album lyrically & will's guitar is always punchy. In my own little world I 'd love McCulloch to have a song writing partner. Martin Carr (Boo Radleys) is one of the best songwriters I've heard & always imprints images on my brain. Jon Sweeney. P.S. I'm going to give a couple of my own songs & poems a run through at an open mic this weekend - I love spending time after work writing songs & poems. I really do it to express what I'm thinking & the guitar & pen always seem the best way. I hope people will enjoy them & I'm actually quite shy at times. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barry Whiting" To: Sent: Friday, September 30, 2005 8:56 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas B-sides R.I.P. > Matt wrote: > > It wasn't just the 80s, either.
