It's all back to front. In the 80s, we had _*all*_ those classic B-sides when the band could easily have chucked out acoustic/live versions to boost sales ("Hey, 'Silver' backed with 3 Trevor Horn remixes of 'Back Of Love'....show me the till...") and, now, when they're largely preaching to a captured market, we (alas) seem to get the easy option whereas I'm sure we'd all go for some daft noodling that only a rabid fan would care two hoots for. NLF (acoustic)'s already been on a B-side hasn't it ? Ya....bravo!! A remake of the "Fuel" vibe would not be so out of place within the sound of (parts of) the new record.
