Hi, It's an unrelated topic but are you the Kristin who I worked with in Kirkby (Liverpool) in about 1998. If so I'm fine after a rocky period in my life! I did really like the people at the school in Kirkby. I think you have alot of patience & have admiration for people working in the job. All the best, Jon Sweeney Ps If you like literature & history read the The Kennedys Emerald Kings by Thomas Maier. I read a book years ago on the same topic by Barowitz. There's another good Norman Davies book on European History which I sometimes dip in & out of. Anyway this is a Bunnymen web site so I'll sign off & I was just wondering if you were her? - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kristin Smith" To: Cc: Sent: Sunday, September 25, 2005 10:06 PM Subject: Re: seven-seas Just 2 say..... > KPJ writes: > > > hope everyone is allright. > > Perhaps folks could drop a line to let everyone know yer ok. > > > > Things are fine in Conroe. :) We are so incredibly fortunate .... Thanks for replying! I miss the North West of England sometimes. Liverpool has some great places the Tate Modern, the three graces, Sefton Park etc.. My family live north of Liverpool in southport which is quite picturesque. The Wirral peninsular also has great beaches & I will always remember a bank holiday in New Brighton (with the sun shinning). I would recommend any American going to visit the UK. Ireland is only a ferry journey away & Dublin is a great city with Howth a lovely fishing village a stones throw away on the dart. I would recommend any American to visit Europe like Paris (Montmatre - Salvador Dali museum, Sacre Couer, Trocadeo fountains) & Eastern Europe is cool. I've never been to North or south America. After watching the "motor cycle diaries" & seeing photographs of South America (from a student at Leeds Uni) I wanted to go. But I've been lucky enough to see Sri Lanka, China, Europe (Greece is so relaxing & interesting). Anyway, All the best Jon. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kristin Smith" To: Sent: Monday, September 26, 2005 6:20 PM Subject: OT: Re: seven-seas Just 2 say..... > jswee writes: > > > It's an unrelated topic but are you the Kristin who I worked with in Kirkby > > (Liverpool) in about 1998. > > Afraid not -- I have only lived in Texas and Wyoming.
