That's interesting Steve. I think that's actually pretty cool of Will and Mac, and I think that is the attitude most artists should have. Not that anyone asked, but I believe that filesharing is much like borrowing an LP in the old days and taping it. That being said, I became a bunnyfan soley because I borrowed Crocodiles and Heaven Up Here from a friend and taped them. Over the next few weeks I was a changed man. Of course since then, I have bought every album of theirs in a proper store, and I think we've all purchased the first 5 albums at least twice by now, with the remaster releases. I think the record companies get a little too freaked by something that does have a positive side to it. I also believe that the amount of money the labels claim they lose every year is skewed by the fact that many of those "illegal downloads" are actually potential fans in the process of finding out that the album either sucks and they don't want it anyway, or fans finding out that they actually would like to go out and buy the CD. I would also just mention that even though I listen to music primarily through my iPod, I always prefer to BUY the CD and have a real live copy of it on my shelf. That's all I have to say about that. Me too, can't bear not having the proper sleeve / inlay / lyric sheet. That's why I still also buy vinyl if available. Steve G. p.s. Maybe I'll buy the cd just for 'Scissors in the Sand' - guess it won't be a single as it's not a Mac solo style ballad! >>> I always prefer to BUY the CD and have a real live copy of it on my shelf.
