I prefer the Magic Roundabout version.... Actually, I qualify that a bit in case anyone thinks I'm ranting for the sake of it.... We are talking about probably the most prolific recording artist ever here. By that very fact, it cannot be overwhelming as it's a contradiction in terms. Overwhelming is things like being born into say, the royal family.. Things you do not really have control over. FWIW, if we're talking old farts of music, the I consider Neil Young to be head and shoulders above Dylan, although the paradox is that it's difficult to know if Young would have been so great without Dylan's influence. That being said, moving on many years, there were better bands than the Sex Pistols... Stu - --- Stu Bird wrote: > It's a bloody shame if you ask me. > Overwhelming my arse.. Do love his stuff though. Speaking of stuck up, Van Morrison (Van the Man, more like Van The Van, fat git) used to eat in a restaurant managed by my brother in Fulham. Never tipped and always ordered everyone about. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-seven-seas@smoe.org [mailto:owner-seven-seas@smoe.org] On Behalf Of chris adams Sent: 12 September 2005 20:39 To: seven-seas@smoe.org Subject: Re: seven-seas Bunnymen / Ian sightings Peeled M&M's was it? - -C Stu Bird wrote: Agree on the mac private life debate..
