Never saw 'em live (twat that I am). But when I walked in the house that one late night, and Mrs KP said 'quick get in here' I was blown away. Mac & UberVill are in my front room (abeit on a small screen), and what I'm hearing for this very first time is Zephyr....words fail me but suffice to say I had a fucking great grin, and maybe just a little wood. Sadly sadly wasted material. I believe Will will always be able to play to those levels, but Mac aint gonna last forever....nothin' does! 'n' as for them live tracks............nuff said NOOOO!!! > As for E-Fix, I'm probably gonna get slated here, but > I rate that album higher than anything the boys have > done since Ocean Rain, including Siberia. Thanks for posting these Barry. Just for sending a hi-res scan of Reverberation and Burned that was used in the article! Hopefully my real copy will arrive soon. You know I kind of soured on Flowers after the initial buzz of the release. It has some good songs but if I am reaching for a Bunnymen CD that one will be way down in the list. It was interesting that Mac and Will feel pretty much the same way. I wonder why they chose to feature so many of those songs on Live in Liverpool then? I always felt they should have brought out more of the forgotten classics since it was the first official live album. Only one song from HUH as I recall vs 4 Flowers songs.
