Yeah, I'd say it's way too early for jokes about New Orleans. I live in Oxford, Mississippi (northern part of state/Larry Brown, Barry Hannah, William Faulkner) and we are host to quite a few "refugees" from this disaster. I have several friends who have lost their homes, some who've lost people. As well, a few small towns on the Mississppi gulf goast were basically blown away. Lots of panic, rot and misery still in progress everywhere down here and I for one would appreciate it not being a laughing matter for now. Yeah, there are Bunnymen fans here in little ol' Mississippi, believe it or not. I agree that the writing in NME is terrible, so just keep your brilliant analytical skills, wit, and charming personality focused on what is wrong with the English music press for now and leave those who are suffering from the disaster of Katrina out of it. Can't wait to hear the album; really like "Stormy Weather." ===================================================================== Bunnymen Online Presence: http://www.bunnymenlist.com * http://www.bunnymen.info * http://www.bunnymen.com * http://www.fotolog.net/sgtfuzz/ * http://www.villiersterrace.com * http://www.angelfire.com/wy2/discog/ * http://www.softskull.com/detailedbook.php?isbn=1-887128-89-6 * ====================================================================== ------------------------------ End of seven-seas-digest V4 #365 ********************************
