I still have my original review of "Candleland" somewhere. But I recall saying that it would have been a blistering album had Will been playing all the guitars instead of Ian and had Pete been playing drums instead of the machine tempos or that dude from The Cure. As well, had Ian not left, Pete probably would have never been on that motorcycle, on that road, getting hit by that truck, God rest his soul ... Ah, life.
